Transition Assistance Programs

ACP is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to assisting veterans and active-duty military spouses in finding rewarding careers through a reknowned mentorship program.

We help veterans build lasting professional connections. Everything we do supports the opportunity for a transitioning veteran to have a conversation with a hiring manager.

Spend the last 3-6 months on active duty working in industry. Using an apprenticeship program service members receive non-military experience greatly helping their transitions.

Syracuse University offers a no-cost career skills program called Onward to Opportunity (O2O), offering in-demand, industry validated training and credentials to transitioning service members and all active-duty spouses.

A U.S. Chamber of Commerce initiative to help veterans and military spouses find meaningful employment. Their main focus and effort is on conducting 100 hiring fairs annually tailored to veterans and military spouses.
